Tabler of the Week: Kevin Dansky

Why Do We Have a Tabler of the Week?

We periodically interview one of our amazing co-workers to highlight on our culture blog.  A great culture is 100% about the people that drive it.  We come from different places, backgrounds, and experiences and all add a lot of spice to this workplace.

What is your role at Social Tables? Associate Manager, Business Development

What were you doing before you came to Social Tables?  Higher education software sales

What do you like to do outside of work?  Outside of work, I am an avid Netflix and chiller, soccer enthusiast, and dog admirer (not ready to buy my own yet). Other than that, I enjoy traveling, exploring different parts of the city with friends, and strive to learn something new everyday.

Talk about your favorite Core Value: Constant innovation – You can never stop refining. While nothing will ever be perfect, I think that continuously finding new ways to improve not only the company and its goals, but improving yourself will go a long way to providing endless learning opportunities. I’ve learned that not being complacent and forcing myself to understand different perspectives and outlets are my recipe for success. As Albert Einstein once said, “Once you stop learning, you start dying.”

Talk about your favorite Social Tables event: I really enjoyed this year’s holiday party, especially since I had to miss it last year. The environment was on point, everybody was so well dressed and it was a great opportunity to interact with people I typically wouldn’t on a day to day basis.

What makes you weird? Lots of things, unfortunately… I wear fake glasses at work, and can watch Pixar or classic Disney movies all day. Ratatouille and Aladdin are my favorite.
