Tabler of the Week: Ram Parimi

Why Do We Have a Tabler of the Week?

We periodically interview one of our amazing co-workers to highlight on our culture blog.  A great culture is 100% about the people that drive it.  We come from different places, backgrounds, and experiences and all add a lot of spice to this workplace.

What is your role at Social Tables? VP, Sales

What were you doing before you came to Social Tables?

I was a bit of a wanderer and started my career recording yoga CDs! After being a Pop Yoga Stary, I spent 4 years learning sales fundamentals at Fisher Investments. My brain wandered further and thought that school would solve it, but shortly after deferring law school and business school, I found myself in DC fundraising for the National Symphony Orchestra (true fact: I met Paul McCartney). Just before coming to Social Tables, I spent a year at Eventbrite in Outside Sales.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love Tennis. I love hiking and running! I love going to new cities and live music! I try to go hit up as many Niners, Warriors, of SF Giants games as possible. In short, I love going to events, whether it be with close friends or at a stadium surrounded by new friends!!!  In 2016 I am hoping to learn the piano/keyboard!

Talk about your favorite Core Value: Every Day is a School Day

Talk about your favorite Social Tables event: (Ram took a new approach, and asked Tablers to answer the following questions for him)

“The 2014 Chiavari’s.  Ram and I were on the planning committee, and cheers to an incredible event with Bloody Mary’s at 9am.” – Cerys

What makes you weird?

“That you are a registered matrimony officiant” -Erin

“For Trevor’s ST3, you hired a Mariachi Band to perform at the office in the middle of the day!” – Sabba

“You ordered a drink solely because it was called a Pedro Martinez” – Mikel

Cheers from Peers:

Thank you for always being so positive on the floor – no matter what the circumstances are. you truly are a great leader and its been fun these past 6 months getting to know you and working under your guidance!

Ram, you are such a phenomenal leader every time I see/hear you in action. Makes perfect sense that the sales team is always eager to be better every single day!

Thank you for always being there to listen to my concerns, help get outside my head and actually think through solutions, and give me confidence to push myself to the next level. You truly are a great coach and friend 🙂
