From the Desk of Belly: Week 6

This post was written by Social Tables’ Manager, Communications, Claire Harrington, CMP.

PSA: Keep an eye out for a new post series written by your favorite Jellyfish, Belly, about how to beat the midday blues. First post will be next week – get ready to chow down, rock out and be inspired!

Hey Hey Hey!

Spring has arrived! Good riddance, winter. I hope to never see your terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weather again. Ever. I have a half a mind* to lobby Congress to banish you from ever setting foot in Capitol City again. In other news…

    • I have a new teammate! Yalcin Dogan came aboard the good ship Social Tables in February, and worked so hard we would have been fools not to hire him full time. He created an amazing new feature for us (curved theatre rows!), AND helped scale everything in our Table & Buffet Designer! His secret talent? He used to be a pedicab driver in DC! Gotta get a look at those calves here soon….Welcome, Yalcin!

  • I have another new teammate too, although I like to consider her my right hand woman (she’s the one that writes these posts for me, after all, I don’t have hands people, just the ideas man here!) Anyways, her name’s Claire Harrington, CMP and did I mention she is a CMP; how cool is that? I’d love to add some letters after my name…BPE (best pet EVER) perhaps? Still throwing ideas around. Help me in welcoming Claire our PR/content all-star!
  • One of my favorite clients, the Hyatt Hotel Corporation, gave us a really lovely shoutout in this weeks Social Tables Stories. My favorite part was when they said, “We don’t remember life without Social Tables.” I mean, does it get much better than that?

Have a great weekend – make sure you get outside and enjoy this springtime weather!
