From the Desk of Belly: Week 5

This post was written by Social Tables’ Manager, Communications, Claire Harrington, CMP.

Dear Friends,

I was a smidge lonely at Social Tables HQ this week, as many of my coworkers were away at conventions, repping our product, educating industry peers, and raking in the accolades for how amazing our team is. Next time, I’m packing up and hitting the road with them, but for now, here’s a look at my where my jetsetting coworkers have been:

  • 2014 Catersource and Event Solutions Conference & Tradeshow, Las Vegas

    • Our CEO, Dan Berger* and our Director of Marketing, Trevor Lynn, were on FIRE as they educated attendees in great detail about technology, events, sponsorships and marketing during their SEVEN separate speaking appearances. I’m so proud!

    • While his colleagues were busy talking, our Director of Sales, Ram Parimi was getting his hustle on down on the tradeshow floor.  Check him out at our busy booth!

  • The 2014 Association of Zoos & Aquariums Mid-Year Meeting, Memphis

    • Our account executive Cerys Brown hightailed it South (smart), where she created new opportunities while touring the Memphis Zoo as part of the AZA’s mid-year meeting. Tim Dalfiume, the Director of Operations for the Memphis Zoo told her, “Social Tables is a way for my team – and venue – to have an advantage over other locations, and gives us a way to bring things to the next level.” Way to go, team!

  • The 34th Annual Association of Collegiate Conference Directors & Events-International, New Orleans

    • Laura Simmons, our senior account executive, and Brittney Bernstein, our business development associate, took a trip to the City of Jazz to join ACCED-I’s conference, where they met with over 50 colleges, closed deals ON THE SPOT, and, somewhat disconcertingly, indulged in turtle soup.

Hope you had a fantastic week, and that you have an amazing lineup for your weekend!

*While I’m certain his speeches received nothing but standing ovations, I am much more interested in this FISHBOWL TABLE he found. Dear Dan, can we budget for that? Thanks, Bel.
