From the Desk of Belly: Week 12

This post was written by Social Tables’ Manager, Communications, Claire Harrington, CMP.

Happy Friday, Friends of Belly!

The office was buzzing with a lot of changes and celebrations this week. I need some recommendations for a good app to keep all of the Social Tables happening’s straight! I’ll have to talk to the engineering team about that, because while I’m a darn good Jelly, tech and I never seem to speak the same language (ironic, since I work for a tech startup).

Office recap!

Trevor Lynn, our Chief Marketing Officer, was nominated to Connect Meeting Magazine’s 2014 ‘40 under 40’ list of meeting industry professionals. Did I mention he’s 23? Did I mention he oversees a team of 14 people? Did I mention he’s TWENTY-THREE!? Congratulations, Trevor, and thank you, Connect Meetings for recognizing him!

My very dear friend, Julia Damon spread her wings and is heading West this week as she starts a new career in San Francisco. She worked so hard to get Social Tables to be the company it is today, and we will forever be grateful for her hard work. Who will feed me now that you’re gone!!??!

unnamedWe had two big birthdays this week that were celebrated in 2 different time zones! The first was our Public Relations Manager, Claire, who works in Denver (!) and the second was our Onboarding Coordinator, Kelly! Check out the sweet sign we (well, not me) hung in the D.C. office! And because his birthday falls tomorrow (when I will be out enjoying the great springtime weather), I want to give an early shout out to the one and only, Ram Parimi!

Have a great weekend everyone!
