From the Desk of Belly: Week 11

This post was written by Social Tables’ Manager, Communications, Claire Harrington, CMP.

It’s Fridayyyyyy! I’ve recently been referred to as translucent by my colleagues, so I think it’s time for me to get out and get a little tan on this gorgeous weekend! Before I go, I wanted to tell you about some of the latest office happenings/shenanigans here at Social Tables!

  • I am excited to announce that my coworker, Matthew Whittemore has made his triumphant return to the office after a short stint coding remotely… FROM AFRICA! He has been an instrumental part of our team, and did such an amazing job working remotely that he returns to Social Tables with a brand, spankin’ new title: Lead Engineer! Congratulations, Matthew!
  • Thanks to the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance, Dan is officially a Hoyapreneur! After graduating with an MBA in Management from Georgetown University in 2010, Dan launched Social Tables to pursue his dreams, and the GEA acknowledged his success by giving him the Outstanding Alumni Entrepreneur award! Thank goodness Mama Berger was there to guide him on his journey to the C-Suite! Congratulations on this amazing award, buddy!
  • Company culture is the foundation of our business, and as such we have developed relationships with one another that have bridged the gap from colleagues to friends. We recently celebrated these bonds by hosting two separate employee nights: Girl’s night, which saw our lovely ladies do dinner at Zengo followed by a little two stepping at Hill Country BBQ in D.C., and boys night, where the boys got their card sharks on playing pokerat Dan’s place! I didn’t make any monies, mainly because I was trying to avoid Leroy all night!

Have a great weekend my friends!
